Sheerframe PVC profile in cream has enabled specialist newbuild window fabricator H Jarvis Ltd to deliver the perfect aesthetic and practical solution for upmarket Darlington house builder Bussey and Armstrong Homes.

Located next to a conservation area, homes at the exclusive Leconfield development had to be designed sympathetically to suit the surrounding area. Attention to detail was paramount at the 28-unit development of four and five bedroom high specification townhouses and apartments, with Bussey and Armstrong Homes insisting on low maintenance, customer friendly windows, which replicated traditional British styling.

Using the Sheerframe 6000 system, which is specifically designed for the new build sector and widely used by house builders across the UK and Ireland, H Jarvis Ltd supplied windows with cream foils at each of the properties. The fabricator and installer worked closely alongside the architects, designing each sash to ensure that that they created original, traditional windows, which complemented the overall design of the homes.

The use of cream coloured frames enabled Bussey and Armstrong to achieve a look and style that satisfied local planners, and appeals to today’s house buyers.

Sheerframe windows are perfectly suited to the creation of highly energy efficient, low maintenance windows with slim sightlines which perform consistently well throughout their long lifespan.

Tony Cooper, director of Bussey and Armstrong Homes commented, “We have an excellent working relationship with H Jarvis Ltd and have been using Sheerframe windows since 2000. The Sheerframe system really stands out compared with other systems and at the Leconfield development suits the style and look that we wanted to achieve”.
