Cavity closers

H Jarvis produces a range of cavity closers which allow finished glazed windows to be fitted at a later stage in the building process without disrupting traditional building practices and procedures. No special site skills are required.

Cavity closers are available to fit cavities of 50mm, 75mm and 100mm and they can be welded together to create a bay window former. These help builders create bay windows with ease as the cavity closer provides a clear footprint for them to work to.

Also available are cavity closers for door combination frames.

Our cavity closers perform four separate functions. They:

• Act as a template for the bricklayer
• Seal and insulate the cavity opening
• Provide a d.p.c. around the window reveal
• Act as a simple fixing system for the finished glazed window.
